NE US Temps Normal Or Above March 10-18 - NOAA

[Dow Jones]--Temperatures will be above normal throughout New England and at seasonal norms in the rest of the mid-Atlantic region from Mar 10-18, NOAA said in its updated 6-10 and 8-14 day forecasts Thu. The two areas combine to make the world's largest heating oil market. Above-normal temps also are expected in the Great Lakes region, with normal temperatures in the Pacific Northwest and the upper Midwest. Below-normal temperatures will are expected across the southern have of the country, stretching from coast to coast and as far north as Oregon in the March 10-14 outlook. In the March 12-18 forecast temperatures in California, Nevada and Oregon return to normal as the swath of below normal temperatures shrinks eastward to stretch from New Mexico and southern Idaho across the nation to the lower-Atlantic region. The forecasts for below-normal temperatures is concentrated across the Texas, the Gulf Coast states and Florida in the March 12-18 period.
